焊接设备上的电机、电器、空压机等应按有关规定执行，并有完整的防护外壳，一、二次接线柱处应有保护罩。

长期停用的电焊机，使用时，须检查其绝缘电阻不得低于0.5MΩ，接线部分不得有腐蚀和受潮现象。

焊钳应与手把线连接牢固，不得用胳膊夹持焊钳。
